Christmas Eve Service and Special Offering

Join us on December 24th at 5:30pm for our Christmas Eve service, as we celebrate the arrival of Jesus Christ into the world! Please INVITE family, friends, and neighbors to hear the good news of the Gospel this Christmas!

Each year, in addition to our regular weekly giving, we seek to intentionally bless an organization or ministry in our community that in some way is advancing the heart and Kingdom of God. Last year we took an offering for YoungLives— a ministry that supports teen moms.  In response to the support shown by our congregation in both financial and practical ways, this year we will be taking a special offering again for YoungLives. This time, however, the support will go directly to the director of the Capital Region YoungLives, Juli Bickley. Currently, Juli can only give a limited amount of time to this ministry because of financial constraints. Juli believes that God has called her to increase her capacity with YoungLives and is actively raising support to meet her needs. An increased capacity to serve this ministry directly impacts the existing mom’s, as well as the potential for YoungLives to extend its reach, serving more teen moms in our area. If you would like to make a special donation this month, you may do it online HERE and use the drop down menu item “Advent 2019”, or drop a check in the offering plate with “Advent” in the memo line of your check. We will be taking donations each Sunday of Advent, including Christmas Eve.
