Baptism Service & Church Picnic at Grafton Lakes State Park

This Sunday, Terra Nova Church will not be gathering at the Troy Boys & Girls Club. Instead, join us at Grafton Lakes State Park for our annual Baptism Service & Church Picnic!

We’ll gather near the Deerfield Pavilion for worship and testimonies as we celebrate those taking the step of baptism. Following the service, we’ll walk down to the lake together for baptisms and then return to the pavilion for lunch and fellowship.

What to Bring

Please bring a lawn chair for the service and dress appropriately for an outdoor morning. The field can be cool and dewy, and we recommend comfortable shoes for the walk down to the lake.

Terra Nova will provide sandwiches, water, and paper products for lunch. If you call Terra Nova home, we invite you to bring a side dish to share. Feel free to bring lawn games, too!

There is a vehicle entrance fee to enter Grafton Lakes State Park.

As you enter the park, look for the Terra Nova sandwich board along the road directing you toward our gathering.

Whether you’ve been part of Terra Nova for years or are joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you with us as we worship together and celebrate what God is doing in the lives of those being baptized!
