Men of Terra,

Join us for a three week discussion through Biblical Manhood in general, and fatherhood in particular. We’ll be gathering for an hour on Friday mornings starting October 24th and bagels / cream cheese / coffee will be provided. Please REGISTER HERE so we can make sure we have enough food! Here’s a brief description of the book we’ll be using to guide our discussion. (It’s very short—70pgs, so about 23pgs per week):

In How to Lead Your Family, Joel Beeke presents a biblically grounded vision of fatherhood shaped by Christ’s threefold office of Prophet, Priest, and King. He calls fathers to lead their homes as prophets who teach God’s Word faithfully, as priests who intercede and model repentance and devotion, and as kings who govern with wisdom, love, and humble authority. Beeke roots this calling in the gospel, showing that true leadership begins with a father’s own submission to Christ. Practical and devotional, the book equips men to shepherd their families with grace, conviction, and spiritual depth.

There are so many great resources out there to advance the conversation on how to reflect Christ in our leadership at home. This is just one of them. The main goal is to sharpen and encourage one another in this timely and critical area of life together as citizens of the kingdom of God. While it’s geared toward fathers, all men are welcomed and encouraged to join.
