We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be a little daunting. As you step into a community of people who already know each other you could be wondering a variety of things. However, we’d love welcome you. So, please come with all your questions and we’d love for you to be able to join us. Our hope is you will find this to be a place you can be comfortable doing life.
As you plan to visit with us on Sunday you may have questions like: Where do I go? Where do my kids go? Is it safe? What will the music be like? What is the teaching like? What will people be wearing? To help you, we’ve tried to give some brief answers to most of these things below and you can also check out our short video on what a typical Sunday at Terra Troy feels and looks like.
There is more than enough parking around our Troy location. In addition to a fair amount of street parking that tends to be empty on Sunday mornings, you will find a large parking lot right near Revolution Hall, just past Ryan’s Wake, that is free on nights and weekends. Look for the Terra Nova Parking sign to guide your way.
6 Months - 10 Years
Our Terra Kids classrooms are just a few doors down from where adult worship takes place. Currently, we accommodate children from 6 months old to children in 5th grade during our 9am service only.
Please note that Quest classes (grades 1 – 5) do not meet on the 1st Sunday of the month when families are encouraged to attend worship together.
Checking in to Terra Kids
We utilize a computer-based check in system called The City to ensure the proper safety and care of your children. If it’s your first visit, you’ll want to give yourself an extra few minutes so we can help you check in your kids properly. After your first visit, it will be much easier and quicker.
A private nursing area is available for you in Revolution Hall where we gather to worship. Be sure to look for the dividers in our lobby.
At Terra Youth we love our role of coming alongside families in the discipleship journey of students. We try engage their head, heart and hands so that they grow to love Jesus with all of their mind, their heart and their strength.
On the 2nd & 4th Sundays of every month we gather in age-based small groups during the 9 am service in our children’s & office space at 415 River St. The teaching and discussions are based on the current sermon series the church as a whole is learning through.
Ad nox … at night. On the 3rd Thursday of every month we gather socially to play games, eat food and do life together. These gatherings are a great place invite friends to experience community and serve those in the communities around us.
