Facility
Set-Up
Since Terra Nova rents its worship space, we need 1-2 volunteers to arrive early to set up the facility for the service. These volunteers are in charge of setting up all tables, chairs, signs, rugs and anything else that Terra uses during the service. This team is essential to Sunday services. They set up the entire place so that we can worship our God together in a place that cultivates an atmosphere of worship and presents the values of Terra Nova.
Tear-Down
Terra Nova wants to be good stewards of the space we rent. This means that after we are done using the building for the day we want to put it back into the condition it was before we got there (or better). This means tearing down chairs, signs, and rugs. As well as putting other furniture back to where it was before we entered the building for the day. This team has a great opportunity to witness to those who we rent the building from. We want to show those who use the building that we are thankful for hosting us and be an example of Christ’s kindness and love by cleaning up after ourselves well and in a timely manner.
Is Set-Up For me?
We are looking for volunteers who we can depend on to be at Terra Nova early in the morning. This team is essential in the set-up process and must be done with set-up in a timely manner. Volunteers should know that there will be minor heavy lifting involved.
Is Tear-Down For Me?
We are looking for volunteers who don’t mind minor heavy lifting involved in tear down. We encourage these volunteers to have a friendly demeanor as they may interact with others who do not attend Terra Nova, but will be using the space once we are finished. Having a heart that desires to be a reflection of Jesus by our simple actions is beneficial in serving on this team.
