Salvation Army Angel Tree

For the fourth year in a row Terra Nova-Troy is participating in the Salvation Army’s “Angel Tree” program to buy Christmas gifts for local children.

If you – as an individual, family, tribe, or group – are interested in sponsoring a child, you simply obtain a tag from off of the Angel Tree on a Sunday morning.
– Tags will be available on: Nov 21, Nov 28, and Dec 5.
– Unwrapped gifts can be dropped off  at a Sunday service on Dec 5, and Dec 12.
– Gifts can also be brought to the 415 River Street offices during business hours.

The tag will have:
– the name of a child
– his/her age and gender
– a few suggestions for what they want for Christmas

A child may list several gift ideas on the tag. You can choose to get some or all of the items. However, the children are not expecting to get everything on their list. If you purchase multiple items, they must be packed in the same box or connected in some way with the child’s Angel Tree tag attached to the wrapped package.
