Mission
Tribes live out the core value of being monastic & missional and take on the calling to make more & better disciples of Jesus. The love of God’s people expressed in community serves as a visual representation of the Gospel, and so Tribes seek to be on mission together to reach their neighbors & local community. Mission flourishes where there’s a burden for others, and an effort to demonstrate & proclaim the Gospel to those we live among.
Multiplication
Tribes also take on Terra’s strategy of multiplication and following the Lord into new places. The community of our Tribes are open so our small groups can grow by accepting new people into a journey of following Jesus. As our Tribes grow, more disciples are made, we develop new leaders, we plant more Tribes and the church grows.

The life of church does not remain within church walls. As the gathered church we are meant to live among the city in which we worship and bless the communities in which we live. To live this ways is to remind ourselves that we are blessed to be a blessing.
In addition to partnering with other organizations in our City we also open our space to our community. This is why we’ve helped to launch The Green. Our heart is to add to the cultural value of the places we live in intentional and creative ways.

Planting Churches That Plant Churches
We believe the best strategy to achieve our mission of making more & better disciples of Jesus is planting more and better churches who are centered on Jesus. We can do this more effectively as a family of churches within the Terra Nova Network than we can as an individual church. Each year we gladly give 10% of our general giving toward the church planting movement through our Network. Over its decade long history, Terra Nova Network has given nearly $400k towards church planting.
Risking Towards the Future
We continue to invest today into tomorrow’s future church. Terra Nova will be investing heavily into two key Church planting efforts in the next 12-24 months. Paul Gordon will be serving as the New England Coordinator for Acts 29 Rural Collective; and Ed Marcelle will be serving as the Director of Church Planting for Converge Northeast.
