Good News About Evangelism

When did sharing good news become a bad thing?

For many followers of Jesus, the idea of evangelism causes anxiety. The fear and pressure of performance & result can paralyze some. Others are burdened with methods that are at odds with their nature. They feel the language or structure of a system of evangelism is forced or contrived.

And yet, we are called to evangelize, gifted to evangelize, and have a unique opportunity in our spheres of life to share this good news.

Last year I was invited to speak at Liberty University Divinity School’s chapel for seminarians during their Church Planting Week. I chose the topic of evangelism and how it is a part of discipleship.

The attached video recorded at the seminary is a teaching based on the biblical basis and surprisingly diverse biblical practice of evangelism. I hope it is good news for you.
