Baptism is an outward expression of an individual’s faith; that they have been cleansed from their former sins, and brought through cleansing waters by Jesus, who now leads them.
Terra Nova Troy is planning another baptism service on Sunday, August 14, 2022 (outdoors, during the church picnic) for those who would like to step forward to identify themselves with Christ through participation in this ancient rite.
A great way to learn more if you are interested in being baptized at Terra Nova is to attend a Baptism Class. There you will have the opportunity to learn about our beliefs on baptism, inquire about being baptized, and ask questions. This class is a requirement for anyone who is interested in being baptized on a Sunday morning.
Our next Baptism Class will be on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 12:00pm, located at 415 River Street, on the second floor, in the Terra Nova office suite. (Class will last approximately 2 hours.) We ask that you sign up for this class by clicking the “Sign Up” button above or at this link.

If you are wondering whether you should be baptized, then you should discuss it with your Tribe leaders, as they would be a great resource. If you are not currently in a Tribe, then see one of the pastors. We would be glad to talk with you; however, attending the Baptism Class this month is one of the best opportunities to learn more about what the Bible teaches about baptism.
