Amber serves as our church Administrative Assistant. As Administrative Assistant, Amber works with the Pastoral team to be sure church communications and updates run smoothly through the website and social media, oversees Sunday volunteer teams and assists with Sunday service operations, and helps new church members find a small group placement in the correct tribe. Often on a Sunday, you can find Amber helping greet church attendees and answering questions. 

Amber has been serving as Administrative Assistant on staff since 2018. Early and often in her life, Amber has known the calling of God to serve others in whatever ways she can. She and her family moved to the area in 2011 and began attending Terra Nova in Troy shortly after, joining the group that sought to plant Terra Nova Saratoga in 2012. Amber has served at Terra since then, in varying and changing roles, with a desire to help create a worship space in which people can enter into the presence of the Lord restfully and joyfully. She finds great joy in helping the people of God come together wherever they are to enjoy their time in worship and fellowship, in helping to plan out the logistics for that to happen, and in helping others find ways in which to serve each other and the church regularly. 

Amber and her  husband of 16 years Joshua live with their son Gavin and long-term exchange student Alice in Ballston Spa. When not at Terra, Amber is also a part-time high school teacher. She enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family as often as possible.
