Carpooling, Location, and Timing
We strongly encourage that each of you make the concerted effort to take the time off of work so you can arrive at the retreat on Thursday and make the most out of the retreat.

To assist the caravan process - please chose which location you plan to leave from on Thursday morning. If you cannot come up to the retreat until after work on Thursday, chose that option and others may be able to meet and carpool.

A few days before the retreat you will receive an email about meeting times and locations based on your selection.

Serve
As many of you know, it takes many hands to help make the retreat happen, both before and during the retreat. Many hands make light work. Below is a brief list of ways to serve. You can read descriptions further below.
If you have been asked to serve on the worship team or as a small group leader than you do not need to chose a role here.
Please select ONE role you are willing to fill on the retreat. You will receive guidance for your volunteer as we get closer to the actual retreat dates.
If there are no volunteer roles left at the time of your registration, you will be assigned a volunteer role during the check-in process at the retreat.

Pre-Retreat Serving Roles
The Cooking & Food Prep will take place on Saturday, September 11th from 9a-12p in Latham, NY. If you choose this option you will receive more detailed information from Clark Fedor and/or Jason Gagnon. The Pick Up Roles entail picking up various food the morning of, or a day before the retreat and bringing to the retreat with you. You will receive detail instructions via email a few weeks in advance of the retreat.
Retreat Serving Roles
* The Assistant Chef will work with Clark Fedor, our head chef, to oversee and execute lunch and dinner service on your respective day. Assistant chefs will be the on-site manager/coordinator for services and will take direction from Clark. The role requires some basic kitchen & cooking knowledge with an ability to coordinate timing so the Italian bread does not burn and local firefighters don't have to show up (again!). The assistant chef is really there to assist Clark so he is not cooking the entire retreat and is able to retreat a bit himself.
Post-Retreat Serving Roles
Scholarship Fund Donations
We want as many Terra Nova men as possible to go on this retreat. Some will have a difficult time finding $160 in their budgets. Donations to the Retreat Scholarship Fund are tax-deductible. If you haven't already, you can give to the Scholarship Fund HERE If you have made a donation, or plan to, please let us know how much you've donated so we can plan accordingly.

Scholarship Fund Requests
Please send an EMAIL to request a retreat scholarship. Funds will be awarded to men based on availability and need. Except for extenuating circumstances, we ask that scholarship recipients pay at least $50 of the registration costs. Also, please do not complete this registration process until after you have emailed imago@terranovachurch.org. If you are gifted a scholarship, you will then receive an email so you know what amount to include below as your registration payment. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

NOTE: The retreat registration covers two nights of lodging, guest speakers, all meals from Thursday dinner through Saturday lunch, and recreation. Please recognize that because we will be reserving a room for you for two nights. If you need to cancel for any reason, we will only be able to refund your fee if someone else is able to fill your spot. Thank you for understanding.
