Carpooling, Location, and Timing
We strongly encourage that each of you make the concerted effort to take the time off of work so you can arrive at the retreat on Thursday and make the most out of the retreat.

To assist the caravan process - please chose which location you plan to leave from on Thursday morning. If you cannot come up to the retreat until after work on Thursday, chose that option and others may be able to meet and carpool.

A few days before the retreat you will receive an email about meeting times and locations based on your selection.

Serve
There are a few ways you can help make the retreat happen. Below is a brief list of ways to serve. You can read descriptions further below.
If you have been asked to serve on the worship team or as a small group leader than you do not need to chose a role here.
Please select ONE role you are willing to fill on the retreat. You will receive guidance for your volunteer role as we get closer to the actual retreat dates.
There are noticeably fewer roles than prior years because Camp Gorham is providing our food this year and we are not responsible for cooking or cleaning up this year.

Retreat Serving Roles
Coffee Prep volunteers need to rise early & get coffee going for our crew.
Water Supply volunteers are responsible to make sure water coolers are filled throughout the day.
Garbage man is responsible for periodically transporting bags of garbage to the dumpster area (truck needed).
Each Cabin needs a clean up supervisor to make sure cabins are properly closed up at the end of the retreat.
Campsite Clean Up involves walking the grounds of Camp Gorham and picking up any garbage that may be found. A good role for early risers.
Rec Hall Tear down involves helping to pack up the main worship & gathering space (chairs, tables, sweeping the floor, etc.) and loading up our utility van/truck.
Post-Retreat Serving Roles
Scholarship Fund Donations
We want as many Terra Nova men as possible to go on this retreat. Some will have a difficult time finding $175 in their budgets (especially since this cost is up from previous years). Donations to the Retreat Scholarship Fund are tax-deductible. If you haven't already, you can give to the Scholarship Fund HERE If you have made a donation, or plan to, please let us know how much you've donated so we can plan accordingly.

Scholarship Fund Requests
Please send an EMAIL to request a retreat scholarship. Funds will be awarded to men based on availability and need. Except for extenuating circumstances, we ask that scholarship recipients pay some portion of the cost of the retreat. Also, please do not complete this registration process until after you have emailed imago@terranovachurch.org. If you are gifted a scholarship, you will then receive an email so you know what amount to include below as your registration payment. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Registration Payment
NOTE: This year's retreat costs is $175 (up $15 from previous years). The fee covers two nights of lodging, guest speakers, all meals from Thursday dinner through Saturday breakfast (Saturday lunch will NOT be provided this year).
Why the increase? For various reasons, Camp Gorham will be providing the majority of our meals this year. (Don't worry boys, we will still have our venison chili). We will reassess after this year's retreat and determine if we prefer our own food (less money, but more work) or Camp Gorham food (more money, but less work).
Please recognize that we will be reserving a bed for you for two nights, plus food. Therefore, if you need to cancel for any reason, we may or may not be able to refund your fee, especially if someone else is unable to fill your spot. Thank you for understanding.
